Quel beau week-end!
Sunday 5th...
Yesterday, we have visited Nice and enjoyed the sunbeams reflecting on all the bright colors of this wonderful city. As we started by seeing Place Masséna (cf. picture above), we stopped a few feet away only from the beaches, and next to the magnificent Vieux Village as well; just next to this Place was an outdoor free jazz concert.
At night, we had a delightful meal on the Saint Laurent du Var harbor, at a restaurant called Dylano.
Monday 6th... début de semaine
A whole day in Saint Laurent, we were lucky enough to be greeted by the city mayor (cf. picture on the left below) and his assistant, who wonderfully explained to us a few particularities of the city history and how a typical French city council works. We even had the chance to sit where laws are voted! (right picture below) We then moved to a restful beach & shopping time in the afternoon, before going back to the host families. La vie est belle :)
